GZP Website: About Us; Our Philosophy Explained

Our philosophy is based upon the continuing FULL Restoration of the teachings and the Two Houses of Israel.  Both Houses of Israel, Judah and Ephraim, are a bridge to each other.  In the Center, is Jesus Christ, Yeshua the Anointed Messiah.  We have valuable things to learn from each other, including about physically building a Zion community!

1. Restore the House of Israel thru scriptures

Include Old Testament familiarity with all the rest of your scripture studies.  Some of the focus should be on understanding covenants with God (a Biblical perspective) and also finding the Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament and their fulfillment in the New Testament and other modern day scriptures.

 2. Become one nation in their own land

Becoming an undivided nation of "Gentile" Israelite believer + Jewish believer is part of the process.  Since Joseph was given the land of the everlasting hills (Americas; Genesis 49:26) , we should hope for that unity of all tribes to exist on both continents eventually.

3. Remember the Jews and prepare to teach them

Open your heart (concern) to them, study the basics of their religion, and build your testimony and courage in order to approach them in friendship.

4. Work on getting to know God for yourself like you are Moses standing on Holy Ground

Many Jews (and Arabs) who get converted to Christ, friendship, exposure to Christian concepts, and supernatural experiences are key to them being converted to the Jewish Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). Having your own vibrant experience with God will be of a great help to yourself and others.

5. Build Zion!

Zion is the pure in heart, and there are numerous scriptures that say that the pure in heart shall see the Lord, and shall build up the waste places (survive to re-build).

There also isn't any poor among them because they labor and they cooperate and share so that basic needs are met; they look out for each other.
Moses 7 is great to read about Enoch's society.

The command to build Zion has been around since the 1800s, but its practice of living cooperatively was discontinued before 1900.   It's time to do this again...  There are small numbers of Mormons who are attempting and living this the best they can in our complicated society.  Their efforts need to be duplicated wherever there are willing people.

Gathering Zion's People Website Summary

Here's a summary of my website from earlier times.  I am changing the website so this is older content.  {Website: https://gatheringzion.com }

ABOUT US:  We want to continue with the Full Restoration of the gospel:  We are commanded in Mormon scripture to specifically teach Jewish people.  Now is the time to learn how to lovingly teach them.  By the way, other Children of Abraham have their promises too, but this website focuses on Jews.  The rest of the House of Israel has things to teach the LDS people. What LDS don't realize, is that Jews have decades of experience in building over 200 Zion Communities in Israel, although they have been done in perspective of their own beliefs and culture.   We can learn from them!!

Ezekiel 37: 16-24  All tribes of Israel (under Ephraim and Judah) to be reunited; Messiah comes to rule.

D&C 98:16-17  Earth to be destroyed if we don't bring the Jews' hearts to the prophets.

2 Nephi 29: 4-5  The Lord is displeased with persecution of Jews; we should seek to "recover" them.

CALENDARS--TIMES AND SEASONS CHANGED:  God allowed the calendar and festival changes as a test.  Scriptures, calendar, Sabbath, and holiday observances were altered over the centuries, hiding the truth from the world.  These changes were made without God's approval.  Scripture and history also reveal that God is still keeping His Calendar!

D&C 121:12

BLESSINGS OF ZION:   Some of the blessings of Zion beyond fellowship and physical community are:

  • Spiritual gifts increasing
  • Living in a "Holy Place" which will later be protected by God in the End Times.
  • Possibly surviving to the Second Coming of Christ, being translated, and inheriting the earth.

Isaiah 65: 21-23; Moses 7:18,

1 Cor. 15: 50-53; 1 Thes. 4:13-18,

1 Ne. 16:2; Alma 36:3; 3 Ne 27:19-22,

D&C 76: 50-70,102;  D&C 88:94-98.

LAST DAYS WARNINGS:   Calamities and the Abomination of Desolation are coming.  We should warn others and be watching for the Signs:

  • Have at least a year's supply of food, supplies and a water source, as is possible to have.  This is a Biblical principle according to the "sabbatical year" and Noah's Ark.  You might need some miracles.  Noah took 16 days to load the ark (Book of Jubilees, pg. 59)
  • Be prepared mentally and physically to not take the Mark of the Beast.  Read  Revelation 13: 15-17 and D&C 89.  Be careful about what food, drink or medical products you put into your body.
  • Prepare to depart Babylon like the 10 Wise Virgins (Matt.25).  This parable implies that if you take the Mark of the Beast, you will be denied entrance into the Wedding Feast.

Rescue the Rainbow. The Rainbow belongs to God.

I agree with Rabbi Schneider (a Jewish-Messianic-Evangelical Rabbi).  It's time to stick up for God and affirm that the Rainbow is a covenant from God to Noah and the Human Race.  It was a sign that the earth would not, should not be {completely} flooded again, destroying the human race. https://takingtherainbowback.com/

The Joseph Smith translation has extra to say about the rainbow covenant:

https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/jst/jst-gen/9?lang=eng

JST, Genesis 9:21–25. Compare Genesis 9:16–17

God sets the rainbow in heaven as a reminder of His covenant to Enoch and to Noah. In the last days the general assembly of the Church of the Firstborn will join the righteous on earth.

21 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant, which I made unto thy father Enoch; that, when men should keep all my commandments, Zion should again come on the earth, the city of Enoch which I have caught up unto myself.

22 And this is mine everlasting covenant, that when thy posterity shall embrace the truth, and look upward, then shall Zion look downward, and all the heavens shall shake with gladness, and the earth shall tremble with joy;

23 And the general assembly of the church of the firstborn shall come down out of heaven, and possess the earth, and shall have place until the end come. And this is mine everlasting covenant, which I made with thy father Enoch.

24 And the bow shall be in the cloud, and I will establish my covenant unto thee, which I have made between me and thee, for every living creature of all flesh that shall be upon the earth.

25 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and thee; for all flesh that shall be upon the earth.

Where the Gospel Isn't; ....the Wisdom of Learning MORE than One Language.

My spouse had a person reach out to him via social media today, saying that {the person} is in Egypt and wants to join the Mormon faith, but now his life is in danger, his family is rejecting him, and he needs help.   My response to my spouse was that this man is far away and the best thing for him is that he get in contact with the church members or leadership closest to his physical location.

So off I went hunting for that information; there is a new Middle East/ North Africa regional church leadership as of last year (2022).  I found the email contact information, so that when my spouse has contact again with the man, he can recommend that {he} email the church.  This is all aside from whether the man is honest or not.  Let's just assume his story checks out.

Anyways, as part of that search, I logged into my {LDS} account and saw the map of the congregation building locations and I was amazed at how many countries the Church is in.  They are in most countries in the world, with at least some representation.  (I tried to photograph the screen to share the map, but it didn't go well).

On the map there are red dots for each area with one or more buildings.  The majority of dots of course are in the USA and other parts of the Americas, with other dots in Europe, Far East Asia and Australia area, South Pacific, and parts of Africa.

The countries where there were no dots were Cuba, North Africa (the Muslim dominated countries), most of the Middle East, most of the "-stan" countries in the Middle East and Central Asia (again dominated by Islam), a few in Southeast Asia, China, North Korea.  That's pretty much it (Greenland is likely too cold and unpopulated to get a dot).

Some countries are under-represented when it comes to the gospel.

I suppose if more Latter Day Saints learned these languages, we could speak on Social Media to these people.  Jesus was known as the Prince of Peace.  Peace can be spread by being friends and sharing the gospel.

I call upon all Latter Day Saints to become Bilingual families.  Speaking of the American Saints in the USA, I call upon all to learn Spanish next, if English is your first language.  Prophecy and current events speak of the Remnant of Jacob peoples coming here.  You will be at a future greater advantage over your fellow American if you speak Spanish, and they don't.  This is all aside from Politics.  It just has to do with being able to communicate with these people.

Some of you, if you feel moved to because you live in a state with a higher percentage of Natives, could learn an Indigenous Native American language for the purposes of sharing the gospel and understanding more about their cultures.

I also recommend that in every family if possible, there is one family member that learns a simple conversational level of a third language.  This has to do with either sharing the gospel to the "rejecting countries" or perhaps to those which are (and I hate to say this in a way) the countries most likely to attack our country or our allies.

Learn:

    * Russian

    * Chinese

    * Arabic or Farsi (Persian/Iranian).

Note:  It might be easier to learn Hebrew first and then branch into those of Middle Eastern languages.  The Hebrew Alphabet in my opinion is easier to master than the Arabic script, and there are some similarities in the semitic languages. {The Jews also need to be taught the gospel, some of them will accept and our scriptures say we are to teach them.}

    * Korean

Right now there is a political alliance which is more for economics, but we will see with the passing of time, where the chips fall.  BRICS -- Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa.  In the future there may be other countries joining that alliance.

* Although there are parts of Africa that have the gospel, there is terrible poverty and starvation in some places.  This goes hand in hand with increasing tyranny from their governments and radicals.

I call upon those who feel led, to learn an African language, or to encourage the Black communities here to learn an African language.

Other languages are useful too:

Portuguese,

French,

German,

Ukrainian or other European language

Sign Language

or any other language you choose to tackle.

Learning another language doesn't just give you a skill, it actually makes your brain more intelligent.

I hope you also learn something about that country, and take the opportunity to converse with first or second generation people that have immigrated here.  If those people convert to the gospel, those people can also share with their relatives back in that country.

Read the Bible or Book of Mormon in another language when you have learned some vocabulary and grammar.
