What are you waiting for?
In General Conference, Elder Christofferson gave a talk about Zion in the April 2019 conference. He made a statement saying, "We're not going to build Zion, you do it!" He was basically saying that the Church leadership was not going to build Zion, that it was the job of the members to do it. I heard him make the statement live, as did other people hear it. Then the Church scrubbed his talk, re-recorded and released the new generic version in time for the Liahona magazine General Conference edition.
One must ask what he meant by that. They are not going to physically fund the building of Zion? It sounds like that the members themselves need to stop waiting on the Brethren to do it. We need to stop waiting on the approval or initiative of the Brethren, and do it.

Zion shall escape if...
D&C 97: 18, 25
And now, behold, if Zion do these things, she shall prosper, and spread herself and become very glorious, very great, and very terrible.
25 Nevertheless, Zion shall escape if she observe to do all things whatsoever I have commanded her.
Yes, you heard it -- it's a warning that the longer we procrastinate in building Zion, the more we will partake of the sufferings among the wicked.
We believe in the ongoing Restoration of the Fullness of the Gospel. Heeding the inner "gathering Zion" call is urgent. Supporting righteous Freedom and Truth is the hallmark of the believer. Also, learning about the prophetic Biblical Feasts will help reunite the House of Israel, which leads to more strength through numbers. Jesus said that not one jot or tittle (like the dot over the i or the j) in scripture would be forgotten, but that all would be fulfilled in due time. The biblical feasts are prophetic lessons for us.
So, if Zion is important to Jesus, what are you waiting for? Make your choice, and find like-minded and like-hearted people
It will only get better in a place where you are taught the truth and live cooperatively and in accordance with the commandments of God.
